Lodging Policy

Minimum 2 Night Stay

Check-in 3:00 pm, Check-out 12:00 pm

Please request and confirm if you need a late check-out. We will try to accommodate you if there is availability. We typically have back-to-back rentals and therefore you are REQUIRED to vacate your room(s) by no later than 12:45 pm.

PLEASE NOTE: you will be charged for an additional full day rate if you have not vacated your room by 12:45 pm without lodge permission and confirmation of a time extension.

Your weekend occupancy requires a 2-night minimum. You may make your reservation for Thursday-Friday, Friday-Saturday, or Saturday-Sunday as your two nights.

Midweek reservations, Sunday-Thursday, do not require a two-night stay.

Reservations

Payment in full is required to confirm all reservations.

The Casita

Maximum occupancy - 2 guests.

The Rockhouse

Maximum occupancy - 4 guests with an option to pay an extra fee of $35/N for a Queen sofa sleeper for 2. This option brings the maximum occupancy to 6 guests total.

The Bodega House

Maximum occupancy - 10 people. Bookings are for separate rooms or for the entire Bodega House.

  • Vista Rojo, maximum occupancy - 2 guests

  • Beto, maximum occupancy - 2 guests

  • The Damasco, maximum occupancy - 2 guests

  • Ranchito Bunk Bed Room, maximum occupancy - 4 guests

We add 15% upcharge per person, per night for over 2 guests.

Reservations for entire Camino Ranchito property

When renting all units, one half of your total will reserve all the rooms. The balance is due 60 days prior to your check-in date.

If you wish to rent the entire property for a special event but would prefer that each of your guests pay individually, please contact us directly at jenny@jennyfairbank.com to put a courtesy hold on the property for the dates you are requesting. Then each person may book individually. We will hold the property or rooms for up to 60 days in advance of your reservation, at which time rooms MUST be paid for in full or they will be released. Cancellation policies for individual rooms apply to each guest.

 

Cancellation Policy

Deposits/payments will be refunded when cancellation notice is received at least 15 days prior to event date or lodging date. A $45.00 cancellation fee per refund will be charged for refund transactions. If you would like to come at another time and lose no value, just ask and we will hold a credit for you to use at another time.

For cancellations received 14 days or less prior to an event or lodging, no refund will be available unless we are able to re-book your lodging in which case a refund will be issued, less the $45.00 fee. If you find you are unable to attend an event or come for your stay, you may transfer your lodging to another person of your choosing, just let us know. All refunds will be made by check.

Weather and/or Emergency Cancellations

  • If Ruby Retreats at Camino Ranchito cancels a class or event due to weather or an emergency, we will issue a full refund.

  • No credits or refunds for inclement weather conditions if we are open and guests arrive.

  • No refunds, credits, or rescheduling for lodging, classes, or events that are cancelled due to your medical or family emergencies.
